Pedagogy
My pedagogy focuses on developing students to be independent scholar-citizens by growing their critical thinking skills alongside their empathy, confidence, and creativity. Informed by feminist pedagogy and the principles of universal design, my courses are student-centered and foster learning across diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds. Students in my classes engage course material through through discussion, creative and argumentative writing assignments, and collaborative projects that challenge them to connect theory to practice.
